PRIDE Telethon

The annual PRIDE Telethon is a highly anticipated community event televised on the local Comcast Channel 17 and live from the Smithfield Firehall. The 2016 event raised over $170,000! The event combines a three day auction with a talent day in which many local organizations and individuals are featured. In addition, there are many special activities sponsored by businesses, individuals, organizations and schools in the days leading up to event. In the past, this event has raised approximately one-third of the annual operating budget for Huntingdon County PRIDE.

The 2017 Telethon dates are March 22, 23, 24, & 25.

We LOVE being able to see these kids in person, talk with them on air and share in their delight of helping others with their donations. So be sure to stop over in support of the amazing Kiwanians and have the kids do a little well tossing!

Speaking of tossing!, the PRIDE JAIL will once again hold those selfless captives, willing or not so willing to generously donate some time and effort on air Saturday to raise funds from their "bail money" for PRIDE. To send a family member, friends or maybe, not so friends!! to jail requires a $50 pledge... To be released with pride, $200 Freedom Costs require live or prearranged donations from the "inmates" (former!!) friends and sympathizers.
